Is your summer in need of some sizzle and sparkle? If so, you won't want to miss Alterna-TEASE!, two nights of the nation's freshest, hottest, and craziest striptease! Organized by local burlesque performers Lolli Hoops, Femme Brulee, and Jane Doe, this wacky festival, now in its third year, brings together neo-burlesque performers from all over the U.S. and Canada in a celebration of artful oddity and beautiful weirdos!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 11th is the NEW ENGLAND CLAMBAKE, where a raucous round of talent from far and wide kicks off the weekend early, hosted by Madge of Honor! Not only does this night boast a bevy of local talents and beauties, but certified weirdos from across the continent will set the night on... fire while headliner Jeez Loueez from Chicago will have you screaming in delight.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 12th is THE TA-TAs: The Alterna-tease Awards Spectacular, helmed by Jeez Loueez! Performers from all corners of North America show Boston what they've got in this exciting and eccentric quasi-competition! Special guest headliners Nasty Canasta and Tigger! Boylesque from NYC grace us with their own brand of bizarre, and our esteemed judges will decide who wins the prize of "Top Banana"! You'll be on the edge of your seat, rearranging your pants, and feeling all kinds of feelings as these neo-burlesque stars challenge your expectations and push your boundaries…and your buttons.
